Donate Online

We use PayPal to process our online donations which can be made as one-time gifts or recurring (monthly) contributions. We can process the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Donate Monthly (ACH)

We gratefully accept regular mothly contributions directly from your checking or savings account. We make the withdrawal on the 15th of each month by ACH and provide you with a tax acknowledgent for the year each January.

Estate or Trust

A planned gift donates funds by designating The Principle Foundation as a beneficiary for a portion of your will or revocable trust. The wording can be as simple as:

"I give ___ dollars (or ___ percent of the residue of my estate) to The Principle Foundation of Overland Park, Kansas to be used for general charitable purposes."

Principle Foundation Funds

General Fund. The General Fund is used to support all the activities needed for the ongoing opration of the Foundation.

Local Committees. Gifts can be made to a specific committee. Committee moneys are used to support benevolence activities in the area covered by that committee.

National Fund for Christian Science Nursing. NFCSN assists individuals receiving Chrsitian Science nursing care with payment of related invoices--Christian Science nursing facilities, in-home Christian Science nursing fees, Christian Science practitioner bills, etc. See nfcsn.org.

Disaster Relief Fund. It is our aim to respond quickly when there is a natural disaster. We find that Christian Scientists are eager to offer support to one another when given these opportunities. We maintain a disaster relief fund. Though we track gifts and grants associated with a particular event, we do not establish separate funds. To help us wisely manage our funds, Disaster Relief funds not used for their intended purpose are moved into the General Fund after two years.
